HOW GATE DRIVES WORK
Gate operators have an effect on the appearance as well as safety of the operation. Gate automation is best chosen during the design and also creation phase of the entire fence. This will allow for proper layout and also installation to allow the drive to work. This approach will protect the user from doing additional work related to digging or removing the pavement. What is the principle of operation of gate drives?
MECHANICAL AND HYDRAULIC DRIVES
Swing gates can have mechanical drives, as well as electro-hydraulic. The first solution is most often used. These are screw drives, with the so-called broken arm, and underground. These are extremely reliable constructions in our climatic conditions. In electrohydraulic drives instead of a screw a hydraulic actuator is used, which is distinguished by high strength and durability. They are an excellent solution for gates that are used frequently. In the case of hydraulic drives it is necessary to install a set of heaters, which will allow to maintain the proper temperature of the working fluid during frosty weather.
DRIVES WITH FOLDING ARM
Another solution are gate operators with a broken arm. They can be used to automate gates that are mounted on extremely wide posts. Assembly of such gates is very easy. It is done by attaching the appropriate mounting brackets to the set. It is not necessary to use a welder here.
UNDERGROUND DRIVES
Underground drives are the most costly. Their location makes them practically invisible. They provide smooth and moreover failure-free operation for a long time. However, the installation of this solution requires a lot of knowledge and experience. This solution is often associated with making structural changes in the poles.
